DOUBLESPEAK AND THE PATHOLOGIZATION OF PALESTINIAN RESITANCE

Coming Soon!

This study contributes to three interrelated fields: memory studies, transitional justice, and design activism. By documenting the semantic injuries perpetuated through media doublespeak and legal euphemism, and by proposing design-based strategies for counter-memory, it offers a model for cultural redress. The epilogue reflects on the project’s limitations—national archives still closed, shifting geopolitical contexts, and the ethics of representation. It concludes with an agenda for future research: collaborative digital platforms for testimony sharing, participatory memorial design, and comparative analyses across postcolonial sites. Memory, we assert, is a practice in perpetual becoming.
